Valley Families’ Homes Impacted by Straight Line Winds
ALAMO – Severe thunderstorms ripped through the Alamo area Tuesday morning.

Maldonado says when the storms roll through; his first reaction was to make sure his five kids were safe.
"The most important thing for me is the welfare of my children, a scratch like this is nothing but life is the most important," Maldonado said.
The National Weather Service confirmed straight line winds ranging from 60-65 miles per hour caused a lot of damage in the Alamo area.
The American Red Cross is helping the Maldonado family.
We also heard from some residents affected by the storms in San Carlos, near Edinburg.
