EDINBURG – DHR Health and DHR Health Women’s Hospital announced their inaugural Mother to Bee Expo event.

The expo is designed for new and expecting mothers to learn more about health.

It will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Mother to Bee Expo will feature presentations by local physicians, educational workshops, fitness activities and cooking demonstrations.

Expecting mothers can also expect to learn about Lamaze, baby safety, how to prepare quick healthy snacks and how to keep active before and after delivery.

Dads can also attend to learn about baby basics such as changing a diaper, how to swaddle a baby, feeding tips and how to support their partner.

The goal of the event is to empower mothers throughout their pregnancy and prepare them for the arrival of their baby.
