SAN BENITO – Over 300 property owners found to be in violation of San Benito’s city ordinances received their first warning.

A statement issued out Monday says residents have seven days to comply and clear out nuisance properties or they will face fines.

Officials say they want any lot within city limits to be mowed and cleared of debris before they take additional measures.
