Officials Preventing Reproduction of Mosquitoes in Harlingen
HARLINGEN – City officials continue working to prevent the reproduction of mosquitoes in Harlingen.
Crews say they plan to spray again before the 4th of July.
They have already sprayed around town twice since the floods began.
Officials say larvicide pellets have been added to standing water to halt the development of mosquitoes.
Residents are urged to get rid of any standing water.
