SAN JUAN - The challenge was there for five Valley diamond teams looking to extend seasons into another round.  Los Fresnos was looking for the knockout punch against Vela after winning game one of the three-game baseball series on Thursday.  The SaberCats rallied back and took a 12-7 win to force game three at PSJA on Saturday.  Alexander took game one from McAllen 3-1 in Roma to grab the lead in that three-game set.  In softball, New Braunfels Canyon eliminated San Benito in a one-game playoff.  10-0 was the final score in 6 innings.  Vela is down one game in the three game series with SA Warren after losing 4-1.   CHANNEL 5's Joel Villanueva has the highlights.
