PORT ISABEL – A person accused of threatening a Rio Grande Valley school is now in custody.

The Department of Public Safety confirmed they assisted Brownsville police in the arrest Tuesday morning.

The person allegedly threatened a school in Port Isabel.

No other information about the threat is available at the moment.

An arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday.
