RAYMONDVILLE – The city of Raymondville is working to revitalize its downtown.

A sidewalk on the north side of downtown Raymondville has been broken up.

Mayor Gilbert Gonzales says in a matter of days, crews will place in brick pavers.

The Texas Department of Agriculture grant is funding the work on the sidewalk.

Gonzales says the city had a 25 percent match on the project.

The crew working on the sidewalk is Gonzalez Construction out of Edinburg.
