Suspects Arrested by New Major Crimes Response Unit Charged
A pair of suspected drug traffickers appeared before an Alamo judge Saturday evening.
53-year-old Raul Salinas and 42-year-old Silvia Contreras are both charged with a state jail felony for possession of marijuana.
Their bonds were set at $25,000 each.
Salinas and Contreras were arrested Friday morning when Alamo's new Major Crime Response Unit served its first major warrant.
The unit is funded by asset forfeiture.
