CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water lightly stained; 51-57 degrees; 0.72 feet low. No reports on black bass. Sunfish are slow. Catfish are fair on cut or live baitfish and nightcrawlers. Few fishermen out due to the cold weather.

BASTROP: Water stained; 56-60 degrees. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 0.42 feet high. Black bass are good on Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are good on live shad. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows under lights at night in 18-20 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and hot dogs. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.12 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse jigs and watermelon soft plastics in 10-30 feet. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are fair on stinkbait, minnows, and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 2.59 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps, pumpkinseed lizards, and black/chartreuse Curb's hair jigs over main lake humps. Striped bass are good on chartreuse spoons and white striper jigs. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows in 15-25 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.47 feet high. Black bass are good on black/chartreuse hair jigs in 15-25 feet, and Texas rigged black Scoundrel worms on shaky jigheads. Striped bass are slow. White bass fair on minnows and small white crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.21 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon red soft plastics and on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are fair on silver spoons. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on liver and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. Channel and blue catfish are slow.

GRANBURY: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.10 feet low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on frozen shrimp and stinkbait.

GRANGER: Water murky; 51-55 degrees; 0.12 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on spoons upriver. Crappie are slow. Blue catfish are good on juglines baited with shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 0.74 feet low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are fair green pumpkin soft plastics and spinnerbaits. White bass are good on Charlie slabs. Crappie are fair on chartreuse tube jigs off piers. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.19 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows in 15-18 feet. Channel and blue catfish are fair on juglines baited with shrimp and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 0.37 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.50 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 0.71 feet high. Black bass are fair on purple/black soft plastic worms and crawfish crankbaits in 12-30 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies in 30-40 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on liver and cut shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water murky. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and green soft plastic worms at the gravel pit and the hot water outlet. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on crickets and shrimp at the gravel pit. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 1.79 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon and redbug soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on silver spoons. White bass are fair on minnows and white striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on frozen shrimp and stinkbait.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 49-53 degrees; 0.48 feet high. Black bass are slow on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged craws and shad pattern swim jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 48-51 degrees; 0.44 feet high. Black bass are slow on medium diving crankbaits, shakeyhead worms and Ned rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 49-53 degrees; 0.40 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakeyhead worms, lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.06 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged worms, bladed jigs, and shakeyhead worms. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BRIDGEPORT: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees: 0.08 feet high. Black bass are slow on suspending jerkbaits, shakeyhead worms and squarebill crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are slow on slabs. Hybrid striper are slow on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

CADDO: Water lightly stained; 49-53 degrees; 2.10 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creature baits, swim jigs and junebug Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.

CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees, 0.01 feet low. Black bass are fair on shakeyhead worms, spinnerbaits and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs.

COOPER: Water stained; 50-53 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, Texas rigged craws and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper and white bass are fair on slabs.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 47-49 degrees; 0.09 feet high. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits, shakeyhead worms, and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits, bladed jigs and spinnerbaits. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 48-51 degrees; 0.46 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits, black Colorado blade spinnerbaits, and bladed jigs. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 47-49 degrees; 0.34 feet high. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits, shakeyhead worms and Ned rigs. White bass and hybrid bass are slow on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

JOE POOL: Water stained; 48-51 degrees; 0.75 feet low. Black bass are slow on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged craws and shakeyhead worms. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

LAKE O' THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 50-53 degrees: 1.65 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, Senkos and lipless crankbaits. White bass are slows on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

LAVON: Water stained; 48-51 degrees: 0.33 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, black and blue jigs and bladed jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

LEWISVILLE: Water stained; 47-49 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are slow on suspending jerkbaits, Flukes and shakeyhead worms. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

MARTIN CREEK: Water lightly stained; 75-85 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged worms, swim jigs and small plastic swimbaits on jigheads. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

MONTICELLO: Water stained; 48-51 degrees; 2.26 feet low. Black bass are slow on bladed jigs, spinnerbaits and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.66 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakeyhead worms, spinnerbaits and swim jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

RAY HUBBARD: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.16 feet low. Black bass are slow on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged craws and suspending jerkbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

RAY ROBERTS: Water stained: 46-49 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are slow on lipless crankbaits, bladed jigs and weightless Senkos. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, shakeyhead worms and Texas rigged worms. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

TAWAKONI: Water stained to muddy; 48-51 degrees; 0.51 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, Texas rigged craws and swim jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid bass are good on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

TEXOMA: Water stained; 46-49 degrees; 1.47 feet low. Black bass are slow on suspending jerkbaits, shakeyhead worms and Ned rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Striped bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

WEATHERFORD: Water stained; 47-49 degrees; 0.19 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyhead worms, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 48-52 degrees; 6.91 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water murky; 58-62 degrees; 23.43 feet low. Black bass are fair on jigs, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are good on white grubs and jigging spoons up the Rio Grande. White bass are good on slabs and white grubs up the Rio Grande. Catfish are good on shrimp, liver, and cheesebait over baited holes. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water murky. Black bass are good on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms in the reeds and near the jetty and dam. Striped bass are good on liver and shad at Dead Tree Point and near the pier. Redfish are slow. Channel catfish are fair on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and cut bait near the spillway. Blue catfish are good on cut bait in 15-20 feet.

CALAVERAS: Water murky. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits near the dam. Striped bass are fair on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on liver, shrimp, and cheesebait. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 14.05 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 55 degrees in the main lake, 87 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.23 feet high. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed soft plastics and crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch in 8-15 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 61-66 degrees; 0.19 feet high. Black bass are fair on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live shad.

FALCON: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 25.34 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics, jigs, and slow rolling spinnerbaits off ledges in 15-25 feet, and in pockets in 5-10 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, nightcrawlers, stinkbait, liver, and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 60-66 degrees; 0.14 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Senkos, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.09 feet high. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed worms and lizards. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are slow. Catfish are slow.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water murky. Black bass are good on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and hot dogs.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 0.23 feet high. Black bass to 3 pounds are fair on June bug red metal flake soft plastic worms and lizards flukes, and large swim baits. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on live minnows. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 55-59 degrees; 0.17 feet high. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and watermelon soft plastics in the creeks. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps and spec rigs upriver. Crappie are good on minnows in the creeks. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 6.74 feet high. Black bass are fair on tequila sunrise and pumpkinseed soft plastics. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs. Bream are slow. Catfish are fair on frozen shrimp, live minnows, and stinkbait.

STEINHAGEN: 0.07 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 56-60 degrees; 0.72 feet low. Black bass are fair on dark red soft plastics, white spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Bream are fair on worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on live bait, frozen shrimp, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 39-48 degrees; 36.55 feet low. Black bass are slow. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 41-49 degrees; 78.69 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 41-52 degrees; 49.32 feet low. No reports on black or smallmouth bass. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 46-59 degrees; 5.82 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 48-57 degrees; 0.25 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 49-58 degrees; 12.62 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyheads and jigs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 48-58 degrees; 0.40 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows around deeper structure. Catfish are good on live and cut bait. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 49-57 degrees; 0.00 feet. Black bass are slow to fair on jigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 48-58 degrees; 0.71 feet low. Black bass are slow on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and jigs. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 48-57 degrees; 0.17 feet high. Black bass are slow on shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 49-58 degrees; 16.24 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on shakyheads, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 47-59 degrees; 0.11 feet high. Black bass are slow. No reports on crappie. White bass are fair. Striped bass are fair. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

SPENCE: 36.41 feet low. Black bass are slow. No report on crappie. Catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 52-63 degrees; 0.55 feet high. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 56-64 degrees; 0.22 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 46-55 degrees; 23.64 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains.

SOUTH SABINE: Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove on topwaters.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on soft plastics and plugs. Black drum and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair for drifters working pods of shad and mullet on Bass Assassins and Gamblers. Redfish are good in the marsh on shrimp.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good on the south shoreline on topwaters and soft plastics. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Black drum are fair to good in the Ship Channel on crabs.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters working shell on live shrimp. Trout are good on the mud and shell on topwaters and Corkies in the afternoon. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Black drum are good in the channel on crabs. Sand trout and whiting are good from the piers on fresh shrimp.

FREEPORT: Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs. Black drum are good at the jetties on cracked blue crabs. Redfish and black drum are good in Bastrop Bay on shrimp.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on Gulps over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake and at Shell Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics while wading. Black drum and sheepshead are good at the jetty on crabs.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and good on live shrimp over reefs in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in Morris-Cummings Cut on free-lined shrimp. Black drum are good in the Lydia Ann Channel on crabs.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats on shrimp. Black drum are good in the Shrimpboat Channel on crabs and finger mullet. Redfish, black drum and sheepshead are good at the jetty on shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Black drum are good in the Humble Channel at night on crabs and table shrimp.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good while wading mud and grass on Corkies, Gamblers and topwaters. Redfish are good on bait around the spoils.

PORT MANSFIELD: Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on Gulps and shrimp. Trout are fair to good for waders working the edge of the channel on topwaters and soft plastics.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are fair to good around the spoil islands, channel edges and color changes on DOA Shrimp and Gulps. Black drum, sheepshead and redfish are good at the jetty.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good at Gas Well Flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair at Three Island on Gulps and soft plastics under rattling corks.
