WESLACO – The Texas Department of Transportation is working on several road projects across the Rio Grande Valley.

One project started Monday in McAllen and is expected to continue until the end of November.

Drivers can expect daily closures between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. as crews work along 23rd Street between Uvalde and FM 495.

Crews will also be working on Sam Houston Boulevard in San Benito.

The portion of the road between Business 77 and Interstate 69 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. all week.
