Valley Emergency Mobile Unit Headed to Coastal Bend to Help Harvey Victims

WESLACO - An emergency mobile unit is headed to the Coastal Bend area to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The Hidalgo County Community Service Agency Mobile Unit is heading to Rosenberg, Texas. The agency's director, Jaime Longoria, told CHANNEL 5 NEWS they will help administer state disaster money for assisting families 

Agency members are equipped with two generators, mobile internet hotspots and work stations.

Longoria said they will be there for two weeks.
