WESLACO - A Valley woman claims she’s been working for nearly three months, but all four paychecks she's received have bounced.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported on Valley Metro Security just over a year ago after employees complained their paychecks were consistently late. 

Claudia Elgin says she's getting her checks, but they're worthless.

"It’s not right for the employees because if one is to work it’s to make a living," says Elgin.

When our news team stopped by Valley Metro Security, we found the building abandoned; Elgin says she had no idea.

Texas Workforce Solutions advised Elgin to file a claim, the agency will then determine whether you have a legal right to unpaid money from your current or former employer.
