EDINBURG - Strong defense helped the UTRGV women's basketball team score a 49-42 win over Grand Canyon Thursday night. That wasn't the only reason to celebrate for the university's fans. The UTRGV men also knocked off Grand Canyon, rallying in Phoenix to stun the Antelopes 72-69. Both the UTRGV men and women have won three in a row.
