EDINBURG - One of the hardest things for a college athlete to do is go through a red shirt season.  Red shirts do everything the rest of the team does except dress and play in the games.  That's a tough thing to do deal with when most athletes are eager for competition all of the time.  CHANNEL 5's Brandon Ortega reports from the UT-RGV campus in Edinburg.
