Woman Accused of Helping to Misdiagnose Patients Out on Bond
MCALLEN – The wife of the Rio Grande Valley doctor accused of misdiagnosing patients for profit is now out on bond.
Meisy Zamora posted bond Monday, a $40,000 cash deposit.
Zamora was released from federal custody shortly before going to court Monday.
She will not be allowed to leave Hidalgo County or talk to her husband, victims or other defendants.
Her attorney says a status hearing was rescheduled to Nov. 14.
Her husband, Dr. Jorge Zamora-Quezada remains in federal custody.
