2nd Suspect in Donna Aggravated Robbery on the Run

DONNA – Authorities are searching for an aggravated robbery suspect while his accomplice sits behind bars.
Investigators said 19-year-old Dario Montoya was arrested on aggravated robbery charges. They are also searching for 20-year-old Israel Mendez, a second suspect in the case.
The robbery happened on the 1800 block of Torreon Street Monday morning. Two masked suspects broke into a home and allegedly stole $300 and a cell phone from three people inside.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department said a woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
