New safety measures in effect at Hidalgo County Tax Office

New coronavirus-related safety measures are now in effect at all Hidalgo County tax offices.
Starting on Monday, visitors will get their temperature checked upon entering any tax office location.
People must wear a facial covering and practice social distancing.
Visitors will not be allowed to enter a building if their temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
Taxpayers are encouraged to make property tax payments online and also complete motor vehicle renewals at Texas.gov.
