Several Projects Taking Place in Hidalgo Co. to Improve Drainage
WESLACO – Recent storms in the Rio Grande Valley is striking fear and worry for victims of the June floods.
It’s been nearly a year since the floods took place.
KRGV’s Taylor Winkel spoke with residents who want to see changes in their neighborhoods as we get into storm season.
The Hidalgo County Drainage District 1 tells us they’re working on several projects – it was one of the hardest hit areas during the June floods.
Flood victims are hoping all this work will offer some sort of protection.
