Starr County Murder Suspect Taken into Custody
UDPATE (4/21): Starr County authorities said Ismael Mares was taken into custody at his home without incident.
STARR COUNTY-A murder suspect remains on-the-run from authorities in Starr County.
The Starr County Sheriff's Office identified Ismael Mares, AKA "Polon" as a person of interest.
Around 10:30 Saturday night, authorities responded to a shooting in the El Chaparral Subdivison, east of Rio Grande City.
At the scene, they found the body of a 26-year-old woman, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Her identity is not being released at this time.
Investigators are still looking into a possible motive for the shooting.

Authorities are warning the public to take caution, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
