MCALLEN – The wife of a Rio Grande Valley doctor accused of health care fraud could learn Tuesday afternoon if she’ll be released on bail.
Meisy Zamora, wife to Dr. Jorge Zamora-Quezada, is accused of helping her husband commit health care fraud, launder money and trying to cover it up.
Both were arrested last year.
Last week, a judge denied reconsideration of the doctor’s release.
The judge referred Meisy’s case to a magistrate judge for a bond hearing.
