16-Year-Old Donna Runaway Contacts Family, Police Monitoring Case

UPDATE (10/20): Police said a Donna teen believed to be in danger after running away from home last month has made contact with her family. 

Investigators said 16-year-old Chelsea Ayerin Reyes contacted her mother but refused to disclose her location and said she will head home soon. 

The family was concerned for the teen who suffers from depression and other disorders. According to them, she hasn't received her prescription medication since leaving home last month. 

Police continue monitoring the case.

DONNA – Donna police are seeking help in locating a runaway teen. 

Investigators said they’ve exhausted all leads in trying to locate 16-year-old Chelsea Ayerin Reyes, who suffers from depression and other disorders.

Police said Reyes ran away from home late last month. 

The teen hasn’t received her prescription medication since she left home.

The teenager is described as Hispanic, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a black rose on her left chest area and another of an alien character on her upper right arm.
