18-Year-Old Killed in Brownsville Crash
BROWNSVILLE – Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a Brownsville crash that left one man dead.
Eighteen-year-old Abel Michael Rose was waiting at a stop light near the intersection of Boca Chica Blvd and Coria Street around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Detective JJ Trevino with the Brownsville Police Department says the driver of another vehicle, believed to have been street racing, crashed into Rose's car, killing him and injuring his 22-year-old passenger.
Two people were taken to the hospital; their conditions are unknown.
Police believe the other vehicle to be a silver Nissan Titan pickup truck.
