22-Year-Old Brownsville Man Arrested after Drug Bust in Willacy Co.
RAYMONDVILLE– State authorities seized 29 pounds of marijuana in Willacy County.
A Department of Public Safety trooper stopped the driver of a 2001 gray Kia Sorento for a traffic violation on I-69E north of Conley Road.
Upon further inspection, the trooper found 24 bundles of marijuana inside the gas tank.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Brownsville, was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana.
He was transported to the Willacy County jail.
