BROWNSVILLE – Police are investigating the death of a woman in Brownsville.

Officers responded to a call on the 2500 block of Weslaco Road. They subsequently found the 25-year-old female deceased in her bedroom.

Although there was no trauma noted, Cameron County Pct. 2 Justice of Peace Linda Salazar still ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The case remains under investigation.
