NEAR MISSION – The Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are searching for a suspect who refused to stop near Mission.

DPS Sgt. Maria Montalvo said a trooper tried pulling over a Chevy Impala for a traffic violation around 10:45 Thursday morning.

The driver refused to stop.

A total of four were in the vehicle, including the driver, and all fled on foot.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS is told the three passengers are in custody and will be turned over to Border Patrol.

Montalvo said the driver is still at large.
