Attorneys of Accused Doctor’s Wife Request Client’s Release
MCALLEN – A hearing for the wife of a Rio Grande Valley doctor accused of misdiagnosing patients for profit was postponed.
Attorneys for Meisy Zamora, who’s facing charges for her alleged involvement in Dr. Jorge Zamora-Quezada’s multi-million healthcare fraud case, requested her release.
They argued the government doesn’t have enough evidence against her and is questioning the government’s witness claims.
On Monday, it’ll be decided if a transcript of a conversation between the physician and his daughter will be released.
