UPDATE (5/10): The autopsy results for the man found shot dead inside his car in Edinburg were released.

Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the person responsible for 37-year-old Anastacio Rocha’s death.

Deputies said his family was able to track his vehicle to the intersection of Big Five and Gladiola roads.

Rocha was found still inside his car with a gunshot wound to the head.

EDINBURG – A homicide investigation is underway, after a body was discovered in Edinburg.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra said the body of 37-year-old Anastasio Rocha was found in his 2014 white Chevrolet Malibu, shortly after midnight. 

Guerra told CHANNEL 5 NEWS Rocha's family was concerned when he didn't get home last night. The 37-year-old's friends used OnStar to find his vehicle.
