Lone Star National Bank announced they’re requiring all of its employees to be vaccinated.

In a statement obtained by Channel 5 News that was signed by LSNB President David Deanda, the said:

“Throughout the pandemic, the safety of our employees and customers has been our top priority. Our employees are vital to providing safe banking services to our customers… Vaccines are the best tool available to help control this global pandemic and protect our employees and customers. Given this, Lone Star National Bank has made the decision to require all employees to be vaccinated, unless they have an approved exemption. This includes all new hires."

This comes after a federal judge ruled that Texas employers can require employees to get vaccinated.

LSNB, which has 33 branches in south Texas, hopes other Valley businesses follow suit.
