WESLACO – Weslaco police are investigating after the discovery of a body.

The body was found Friday afternoon in front of the Texas Army National Guard Armory.

Police said a 38-year-old male was found inside a dark-colored Audi which was parked right in front the building. They said the man had an apparent gunshot wound.

They have not identified him.

Weslaco Police Crime Scene Unit is investigating.
