BROWNSVILLE – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board is asking customers to start conserving water.
BPUB spokesman Ryan Greenfield says every May 1 they launch its Stage 1 voluntary water conservation efforts in anticipation of hot, dry summer months.
For now, customers are asked to water their yards in the early morning hours or in the evening.
