WESLACO – The Brightwood College will be hosting a Back to School Event at its McAllen and Brownsville campuses.

The McAllen event, which will be held Tuesday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be free and open to the public and will feature refreshments, candy, campus tours, backpack and school supply giveaways while supplies last and more.

Additionally, attendees 18 or older can enter to win gift cards.

The Brownsville event will also be free and open to the public and will feature grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, refreshments, campus tours, crafts, a photo booth, family-friendly movies, ring toss games, backpack and school supplies giveaways and more.

The event in Brownsville will be held Saturday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These events are a part of Brightwood College's parent company Education Corporation of America's Back to School Events, which will also be held at 62 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Virginia College campus locations across 17 states.
