WESLACO – The owners of Briseno Construction are now facing charges from all 47 of their victims.

The Attorney General Consumer Protection Division found the company delayed home building or never finished the work.

The individual cases were dismissed earlier this month for the owners of the company, Adelina Briseno, and her daughter, Alejandra Melendez.

This allowed the state to file new indictments.

Melendez was indicted this week. She will be back in court next week to be formally charged.
