Cameron Co. Authorities Purchase Military Vehicles
BROWNSVILLE – The Cameron County Sheriff’s Department says three military surplus vehicles were purchased with hurricane season in mind.
County officials say the addition to their fleet cost a total of $22,000.
They say it was a bargain they couldn’t refuse, especially since they foresee they will help rescue hundreds of families in time of natural disasters.
