BROWNSVILLE – Two years after a woman was found dead in a field, investigators are still looking for a suspect.

Cameron County investigators say they’ve run out of leads in the case.

Authorities think the body found in Aug. 2017 is believed to be 26-year-old Teresita Perez.

Sheriff Omar Lucio says after all this time, there are no suspects and very little information to go on the exact cause of death.
