BOCA CHICA – Cameron County has temporarily closed five county beach access areas, due to the risk of high tides and un-drivable conditions.

County beach accesses 3, 4, 5 and 6 are closed to pedestrians and all vehicles. Boca Chica Beach is also closed.

Isla Blanca Park and Andy Bowie Park remain open at this time.

The closures are due to the cold windy weather.
