Cameron Co. to Give SpaceX $2.6M Grant

BROWNSVILLE – SpaceX is receiving a financial boost from Cameron County.

The company will be receiving more than $2.6 million from the Cameron County Spaceport Development Corporation.

The money is the first disbursement of a $13 million allocation to the county spaceport development corporation from the state.

The corporation voted last week to allocate the funds to SpaceX.
