MCALLEN – A McAllen shelter run by Catholic Charities is open to everyone, not just migrants.

Catholic Charities made the decision to open their doors to the public in part because of the drop in temperature.

She says now that they’ve seen fewer immigrants, they have a lot more space at the downtown location.
