LAREDO – U.S. Customs Border and Protection officers made two separate drug busts over the weekend at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge.

Officers seized nearly 200 pounds of liquid methamphetamine found in a 2011 Ford F-150 driven by a 22-year-old man. The seizure is worth more than $3 million dollars.

The driver and a passenger were arrested.

Later that same day, officers busted another driver trying to smuggle more than $300,000 worth of meth.

Officers pulled over a truck and during an inspection, 30 packages containing 16 pounds of crystal meth were found.

The drugs carry a street value of more than $328,000.

The case was turned over to Homeland Security investigators.
