Debris Removal from June Floods Costing Weslaco $300K

WESLACO – Work crews in Weslaco clearing debris from the June floods are making progress.

Weslaco Code Enforcement staff says they are no longer backlogged on cleanup orders. However, they say the city budget has taken a hit.

According to health official Joe Pedraza, people illegally dumping cost them $300,000 in trash removal.
