ALAMO – Westbound lanes along I-2 in Alamo are back open following a cement mixer rollover on Monday. 

The accident happened along the expressway after the Alamo Road exit. 

The driver told police he lost control as he was braking to avoid hitting another car, according to Alamo Police Chief Baudelio Castillo.

Castillo tells us the driver is at the hospital being treated for minor injuries.
