Father, 3-Year-Old Daughter Recovering after ATV Accident in Weslaco
WESLACO - A father and daughter are recovering after an ATV accident in Weslaco.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Bridget Street.
Police said the victims are a 29-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter.
“So far, all we know is that they lost control and in the process they were both airborne. They landed, and once they both landed they were both unconscious,” Weslaco Police public information officer Jose Antonio Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez said witnesses administered CPR until first responders arrived.
The man and the child were taken to Knapp Medical Center. It’s unknown if the man and toddler were wearing protective gear at the time of the accident.
Their condition is unknown.
