EDINBURG – Hidalgo County is making sure their voting machines are checked, tested and ready to go for Election Day.

The Hidalgo County Elections Administration is in the process of completing both logic and accuracy tests to make sure the votes are being counted properly.

KRGV’s John Paul Barajas spoke with Hidalgo County Elections Systems Manager Michael Sosa.

He says they never ran into issues but decided to upgrade the machines in 2017.
