SEBASTIAN – The city of Sebastian is changing as an ongoing legal battle for eight-liners continues.

Three months ago, all the eight-liner businesses closed down in Sebastian as the county tried halting the process by putting a cap the amount of businesses able to operate.

New establishments were to be far from school and existing homes and owners were required to show compliance with fire codes and building requirements.

KRGV’s Christian von Preysing explains four of the eight-liners are back in business due to a temporary restraining order.

The eight-liner businesses will be in court again for a hearing next Thursday.
