NEAR COMBES – A man accused of causing a fatal three-vehicle crash is facing intoxication manslaughter charges.

Angel Uriel Flores, 23, was charged following his release from a hospital on Tuesday.

The accident occurred Saturday afternoon near FM-508 and Briggs Coleman Road in Combes.

According to DPS, Flores was unsafely passing a Jeep and collided with an upcoming Chevy Malibu.

The driver of the car died at the hospital while the driver of the Jeep only sustained minor injuries.
