Minnesota Woman Accused of Killing Husband, Another Woman Arrested in SPI
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – A woman suspected of murdering her husband and another woman was arrested in South Padre Island Thursday evening, according to SPI Police Chief Randy Smith.
Lois Riess is wanted out of Minnesota as a person of interest in the death of her husband in March.
The 56-year-old allegedly befriended another woman in Florida who looked like her, killed her and then stole her vehicle.
The vehicle Riess, dubbed the "Killer Grandma", was driving was reportedly last seen in Corpus Christi.
Tonight, she's behind bars in the Rio Grande Valley.
