New training programs starting at TSC
Two new programs are starting at Texas Southmost College for students to enroll to train as diesel technicians or pipe-fitters.
The programs begin next week.
TSC received nearly $2 million in equipment that students will train with to address the high demand for diesel technicians and pipe fitters.
“We expect every single one of our graduates to get a job immediately,” TSC Associate Vice President of instruction for workforce development Joseph Fleishman said. “The industry is already lining up to hire them."
Scholarships will be available for anyone who's interested in enrolling.
