The Nikki Rowe Warriors football program introduced new head coach Jamaar Taylor to the community during a 'meet & greet' on Wednesday.

Taylor takes over a Warriors program that fell just short of a playoff berth last fall. The team faltered late in the season after starting off district play 3-0.

The former NFL player went into detail about why he's so excited about leading this program moving forward.

"I feel like Nikki Rowe has everything that you need from an athletic standpoint. The facilities, the parental support, and the administrative support." Taylor said on Wednesday. "We came in to change the culture. The kids, they had a tough year last year, there's a lot of things that we're out of their control. I think this year's going to be a little bit different, a little bit of new flavor, fresh face, fresh expectations, and high intensity. That's what I bring to the table for our kiddos."
