MISSION- The Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council’s Ready RGV! campaign hopes to prepare as many volunteers to help during emergencies. 

When heavy rain fell last summer and caused major flooding in many Valley cities, the help of experience volunteers made a difference.

Although any help could be beneficial, officials in the Rio Grande Valley says it’s better if volunteers are prepared.
