MCALLEN – McAllen police are investigating what's believed to be a homicide.

According to the McAllen Police Lt. Joel Morales, the body of 61-year-old Maria Alisa Garza, a health provider, was found at a home on the 600 block of N. Broadway. 

One person of interest is in custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
