EDINBURG – An Edinburg woman says she has no other choice than to pay a bill nearly six times her normal rate.

Janie Cantu told CHANNEL 5 NEWS she received a notice in the mail claiming someone at the address tampered with the electric meter.

An AEP spokesperson says the bill wasn’t a glitch but Cantu says otherwise.

This week she had to make a choice.
